Father in heaven, our minds were prepared for the coming of your kingdom
when you took Christ beyond our sight
so that we might seek him in glory.

Ascension Day, which occurred 40 days after Jesus rose from the dead Easter Sunday is the last act of redemption which Christ began our best Friday. On this day, the risen Christ, in the eyes of his apostles, ascended bodily into heaven (Luke 24:51, Mark 16:19, Acts 1:9-11).
Reality Assumption is so important that the belief (based on the belief statement), Christianity confirm, in the words of the Apostles Creed, that "ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, then will come to judge the living and the dead." Denial of the Assumption is as a grave departure from Christian teaching as a denial of the resurrection of Christ.
Physical Ascension, Christ is preached, our entrance into heaven, and not just as souls, our death, but as a glorified bodies after the resurrection from the dead in the final analysis. The redemption of people, not only Christ offers salvation of our souls, but the material world began to restore the glory for himself, that God has before the fall of Adam.
